BUDA, TX - On December 30, 2025, Isaiah Tiger, a corrections officer with the Hays County Sheriff’s Office, was arrested by Buda Police Department for Driving While Intoxicated at the intersection of Interstate Highway 35 and Royston Road. Tiger, who is assigned to the Corrections Bureau, was off duty at the time of the incident.
Following the arrest, the Hays County Sheriff’s Office placed Officer Tiger on administrative duty pending the outcome of an internal review. The Office of Professional Responsibility will conduct an internal administrative investigation that will run alongside the criminal proceedings.
At this time, no further details have been released, and the Sheriff’s Office has stated that updates will be provided if additional pertinent information becomes available.
