Abraham Herrera

Hays County deputies, with SWAT support, safely resolved a barricade situation near FM 2001 in Buda on Wednesday, November 12th.

The incident began shortly before midnight when deputies responded to reports of gunfire in the area. The suspect, later identified as Abraham Herrera, fled into a wooded field and refused to surrender. Using drones and tactical resources, SWAT operators contained the scene and took Herrera into custody without injury.
