On September 29, 2025, the Texas Board of Radiologic Technology temporarily suspended the noncertified radiologic technologist certificate of Nathaniel Louis Garza, NCR (Lic. No. NCR02004242), citing concerns that his continued practice would pose a continuing threat to public welfare. The suspension was effective immediately and was issued without prior notice.

The Board panel’s decision follows a capias indictment issued by the grand jury in Atascosa County on May 9, 2025, charging Garza with felony aggravated sexual assault of a seven-year-old child.

A temporary suspension hearing with notice will be scheduled as soon as practicable, with 10 days’ notice provided to Garza unless he chooses to waive the hearing. The suspension will remain in effect until the Board takes further action.

The Texas Board of Radiologic Technology emphasized that protecting the public and ensuring patient safety is its top priority.
