The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has announced the arrest of Robert Bustrillo-Vasquiez, 33, a Honduran felon listed on Texas’ 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants list.
Bustrillo-Vasquiez was taken into custody Friday morning at a job site in San Antonio by DPS Criminal Investigations Division (CID) Special Agents and Texas Highway Patrol (THP) Troopers, following investigative leads. A Crime Stoppers reward will not be paid for his arrest.
He had been wanted out of Bexar County since August 11, 2025, on charges of aggravated kidnapping causing bodily injury/sexual abuse, aggravated sexual assault, and smuggling of persons.
Bustrillo-Vasquiez has an extensive criminal history, including multiple deportations dating back to 2010, with the most recent in February 2018. He previously served time in federal prison for felony reentry of a deported alien and was arrested multiple times in Austin in 2013 and 2014 for assault.
DPS confirmed he is now in custody as he awaits further legal proceedings.
