On Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at approximately 9:30 a.m., the Schertz Police Department received a report of a suspicious person. This notification came through Clemens High School Administration involving a 16-year-old female student. The student was walking to school at approximately 8:41 a.m. in the 500 block of Westchester Dr. when she was approached by a male subject who requested a sexual act to be performed on him. The suspect is described as either a white or Hispanic male, black flat hair, wearing glasses, and believed to be about 25 years of age and wearing a gray jacket. The suspect was observed driving what is being described as possibly a Honda vehicle with at least six windows. An offense report for Criminal Solicitation of a Minor (2nd Degree Felony) has been initiated.
Officers responded to the area and began searching for the vehicle and suspect but were unable to locate either.
This incident comes on the heels of an Attempted Enticing a Minor in Schertz that occurred on Monday, September 1, 2025.
Police Chief Jim Lowery stated, “These incidents do not appear to be related as the suspect and vehicle descriptions are different. However, it is alarming and a community threat for such activity to occur with our community youth. The Schertz Police Department will be increasing patrols in the area, and we are seeking the public’s assistance looking for any video evidence that may have captured either suspect. And we are collaborating with local and federal partners to investigate these offenses. We are appreciative of our working relationships with the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District as we work to alleviate these incidents and secure a safe learning environment for all.”
Authorities are encouraging anyone with home security footage or information about the suspects or vehicles to contact them at 210-619-1200. This is an ongoing investigation.
