On August 28, 2025, at approximately 3:29 p.m., the School Resource Officer (SRO) at Clemens High School was alerted by school administrators about threats allegedly made by two students the prior week.
During the investigation, authorities learned that one juvenile male had threatened to "shoot up the school." While officials confirmed he did not have access to firearms, a second juvenile male allegedly suggested he could provide the weapons.
A fellow student reported the threats, prompting immediate action by school officials and law enforcement. Investigators obtained video evidence supporting the allegations.
Both juveniles were taken into custody without incident and charged with terroristic threat, a third-degree felony. They were transported to the Guadalupe County Juvenile Detention Center.
The case remains under active investigation. Authorities commended the student who reported the threats and thanked Clemens High School administration for working closely with the SRO to ensure the safety of students and staff.
