Larry Curry and Misty Teer

On Friday, August 8, 2025, the Lonestar Fugitive Task Force, including members from the Uvalde Police Department, Constable Max Dorflinger (Precinct 1), and Uvalde County Sheriff’s Office deputies, executed an arrest warrant at 11529 U.S. Highway 90 in Knippa, Texas.

Larry Curry was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

During the operation, a woman outside the residence initially gave a false name but was later identified as Misty Teer. Teer was wanted in two separate counties on charges related to dangerous drugs and bail jumping. She was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana at the time of the arrest.

Both Curry and Teer were transported to the Uvalde Justice Center for booking and processing by the Uvalde County Sheriff’s Office.
