SAN ANTONIO, TX – An ongoing investigation by the Bexar County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) Organized Crime Division led to the arrest of a man and the seizure of a significant amount of cocaine and cash.
On August 5, deputies executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 200 block of Sprucewood Ln. in North San Antonio. During the search, they discovered over three ounces of prepackaged cocaine and a large amount of cash inside a dresser drawer.
Deputies also located a black safe in the same bedroom containing more cash, bringing the total amount of seized drug proceeds to $38,680.
The suspect, Luis Antonio Rios, 32, was arrested and charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance. He was booked into the Bexar County Jail.
The BCSO praised its Organized Crime Division for its work in removing illegal drugs from the streets and encouraged residents to report drug dealers anonymously by emailing BCSOTIPS@bexar.org.
