Guadalupe County Sheriff's Auto Theft Unit Makes Major Arrests in Stolen Equipment Cases

GUADALUPE COUNTY, TX — This week, the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office Auto Theft Unit closed two major stolen property investigations involving skid steers and trailers.

The first case, initiated in February 2025, involved multiple reports of stolen skid steers in the Marion and Cibolo areas. Investigators identified and arrested Nicholas Beintema in connection with these thefts.

The second investigation began in June 2025 after reports of stolen trailers from various storage facilities across the county. Undercover officers arranged a sting operation in Comal County, where Kendarious Goodlow was caught attempting to sell a stolen trailer. With help from the Comal County Sheriff’s Office and New Braunfels Police Department, Goodlow was arrested and returned to Guadalupe County.

During interviews, Goodlow was linked to multiple other trailer thefts across Guadalupe County and nearby areas. Authorities believe additional trailer thefts may have gone unreported.

Anyone with information about recent trailer thefts or suspicious trailer sales from storage facilities is urged to contact the GCSO Auto Theft Unit at 830-379-1224.
