Franklin Damien Sanchez, 30, has been arrested and charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and Online Solicitation of a Minor Under 14 following an investigation by the Bexar County Sheriff's Office (BCSO). His bond has been set at $150,000.
BCSO Investigators responded on June 25, 2025, to a report of an aggravated sexual assault of a child involving Sanchez. The investigation revealed that Sanchez had been communicating with the underage victim through Snapchat and arranged to meet in person.
After the child left her home to meet Sanchez, she was reportedly taken to multiple locations before the assault occurred. Following the incident, Sanchez continued to contact the victim via social media. The child later confided in a friend, who, recognizing the gravity of the situation, encouraged her to disclose the assault to her parents.
BCSO commended the friend for their courage and swift action in bringing the case to law enforcement's attention. As a result of the investigation, Franklin Damien Sanchez was arrested and transported to the Bexar County Jail.
