Former Medina ISD Coach Arrested for Improper Relationship with Student

On Saturday, June 14, 2025, Kerrville Police officers arrested Bradley Thomas Love, 26, at his home in the 1800 block of Junction Highway. Love is charged with Improper Relationship between Educator and Student, with the offense date listed as April 25, 2025.

At the time of the alleged crime, Love was employed by Medina ISD as the head basketball coach at Medina High School. He posted a $50,000 bail on the same day of his arrest and has since been released.

Medina ISD released a statement confirming Love's arrest: "The district has received reports that Bradley Love was arrested Saturday, June 14, 2025. Mr. Love began working for the District in August of 2024 and served as a teacher and coach. The Medina School District is cooperating with law enforcement in Kerr County to ensure a full investigation.”

Due to the sensitive nature of the case, authorities are not able to share further details into the ongoing investigation.

Love is a 2017 graduate of Tivy High School in Kerrville ISD, where he played varsity basketball. He later attended Schreiner University in Kerrville, where he also played basketball.
