On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, Bexar County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a reported stabbing along the I-35 Frontage Road in South Bexar County. Deputies located an adult male suffering from multiple stab wounds inside a parked Ford F-150.

The victim was transported to University Hospital in stable condition. He identified the suspect as “JB,” later confirmed to be 18-year-old Johnnathan Blaze Gonzalez. Working in coordination with the San Antonio Police Department and the Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office, BCSO deputies located Gonzalez at a residence in the 8000 block of Lucky Road. He was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Bexar County Jail for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Gonzalez declined to speak with investigators.

During the investigation, deputies learned that two additional individuals had interfered with the scene. Antonia Hernandez, 28, and Jorge Dealpaz, 36, were accused of unlawfully removing a key witness from the location of the attack.

Deputies later found the witness inside a vehicle with Hernandez and Dealpaz in the 8000 block of Gault Lane in San Antonio. The witness had attempted to text 911 for help, but the message was interrupted when Hernandez reportedly took her phone—an action she admitted to during booking.

Both Hernandez and Dealpaz were arrested and booked into the Bexar County Jail on charges of Tampering With a Witness.

The investigation remains ongoing.
