Person of Interest Sought in Attempted Abduction Case in Johnson City

UPDATE:  Johnson City Police say they have identified the suspect in this case as 34-year-old Lindsey Jo Walker.  A warrant has been issued for Kidnapping - 3rd degree felony.  If you have any information regarding her location, contact Blanco County Sheriff's Office Dispatch at 830-868-7104 (option 9 for dispatch).

The Johnson City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a person of interest connected to an attempted abduction that occurred during Monday night, June 17th, in the 300 block of N Winters Furr.

Witnesses described the individual as a female, above average height, between 30 to 40 years old, with bright dyed orange or red hair and multiple tattoos. One witness specifically noted a tattoo of the State of Texas on her leg.

The department has released a photograph of the individual and urges anyone who recognizes her or has information about her identity or location to contact them immediately.
