Bexar County Sheriff Needs Help Identifying Suspects in Ram 1500 Theft with High-Value Equipment

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying suspects responsible for the theft of a silver 2022 Ram 1500, containing several thousand dollars worth of work equipment, from a residence on Veining Way (northeast Bexar County) in the early morning hours of June 15, 2025.

At approximately 1:53 AM, surveillance footage captured a small SUV, believed to be a Mercedes, pulling in front of the victim’s residence. A passenger, wearing a hoodie, exited the SUV and remained at the location for about 18 minutes before driving away in the stolen Ram 1500.

The video appears to show the suspect crawling underneath the truck, possibly to disable the horn before the theft. Due to the video’s quality and lighting, no license plate information or additional suspect descriptors could be obtained for either vehicle. However, a screwdriver believed to have been left behind by the suspects is currently being processed as evidence.

Investigators are urging residents in the area to review their surveillance footage for any potential captures of the suspects or their vehicles, particularly between 1:30 AM and 2:30 AM on June 15, 2025.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of these suspects or suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office by calling 210-335-6000 or emailing BCSOTIPS@bexar.org. Information leading to the identity and arrest of those responsible could qualify for a potential reward of up to $5,000 from Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP (7868).
