On June 10, 2025, the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Unit located and arrested Ricardo Hernandez, who was wanted on warrants for Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Violence and Interference with Emergency Request for Assistance.
Deputies observed Hernandez driving a vehicle and attempted a traffic stop on Meadow Lake Drive. Hernandez fled, leading deputies on a vehicle pursuit that ended in the 2000 block of W. Kingsbury Street in Seguin.
After initially refusing to exit the vehicle and making threats of violence, Hernandez was contacted by members of the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Crisis Negotiations Team, who successfully negotiated his peaceful surrender.
Hernandez was booked into the Guadalupe County Adult Detention Center on his outstanding warrants and faces additional charges of Evading Arrest or Detention with a Motor Vehicle and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.
Following the incident, Seguin Police arrested a passenger in the vehicle, Cyndl Wilke, on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
