Daniel Owen, 48, principal of Boerne Middle School North, was arrested early Friday morning, June 6th, on charges of driving while intoxicated and unlawful carrying of a weapon, according to Kendall County records.
Owen was booked by the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office at approximately 4:30 a.m. Friday. This marks his second DWI offense, with a prior arrest dating back to 2001.
He was released later that day after posting a $10,000 bail.
In September 2024, Owen received the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Distinguished Administrator award.
