Bandera Independent School District (BISD) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mr. Robert LaLanne as the new principal of Bandera Middle School, effective June 26, 2023. Mr. LaLanne, also known as Bobby, brings a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted connection to the district, having progressed through various roles within the Bandera ISD community.

Having earned his Bachelor's Degree from Texas State University and his Master's Degree from Lamar University, Mr. LaLanne has a strong educational background. His journey in Bandera ISD began as a student, where he completed his entire K-12 education. Afterward, he ventured into teaching and coaching before transitioning to an assistant principal role. Now, as the newly appointed principal of Bandera Middle School, Mr. LaLanne is poised to make a significant impact on the campus.

Known as a dedicated advocate for students, Mr. LaLanne has fostered meaningful relationships with both the middle school staff and the wider community. His passion for education and his track record of leadership make him an ideal candidate to guide Bandera Middle School towards even greater accomplishments.

The appointment of Mr. LaLanne follows the transition of Mr. Patrick Sizemore, who has been named the new principal of Bandera High School.
