Bandera County Sheriff's Office reported on Tuesday that murder suspect Freda Thomas has been located and apprehended in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, following a six-month search.
Thomas is accused in the murder of 88-year-old Robert Isaacks from Bandera. Isaacks was reported missing in November 2023, and his body was later discovered in Crocket County.
Thomas is set to be extradited to Texas to face charges of murder.
UPDATE: On Wednesday, May 22nd, Investigator Johnson and Ranger MacMillon of the Bandera County Sheriff's Office traveled to Oklahoma to interview suspect Freda Thomas. Thomas waived an extradition hearing and was booked into Bandera County Jail.
