Early Thursday morning, at 3:58 am, Schertz Police responded to a vehicle burglary in progress at the 11000 block of Holly Forest in the Willow Grove Subdivision.
As the homeowner intervened, the suspects fled in a vehicle, firing a single shot into the air. No injuries were reported.
While responding to the scene, a Schertz Officer located a vehicle matching the description of the suspects which was provided by the homeowner. The Officer attempted to stop the vehicle, but the vehicle fled the scene towards IH-10.
During the vehicle pursuit, the suspect's vehicle crashed near the intersection of FM1518 and IH-10.
Three suspects were arrested after a short foot pursuit and the fourth suspect was arrested approximately two hours later as he was located leaving a wooded area near the original scene. One firearm was recovered during the investigation from the vehicle being driven by the suspects. The vehicle was determined to be freshly stolen out of San Antonio.
Investigations are ongoing.
