Hays CISD has identified the preschooler who lost his life in a crash involving a district school bus, a concrete truck, and another vehicle in Bastrop County.
The victim, five-year-old Ulises Rodriguez Montoya, succumbed to injuries sustained when the bus he was on was struck by a concrete truck that swerved into its lane, as reported by Hays CISD.
According to Texas DPS, the driver of the third vehicle involved in the crash also passed away. The bus, which was carrying 44 Tom Green pre-K students and 11 adults, was returning from a field trip to the Capital of Texas Zoo when the tragic incident occurred.
