New Braunfels High School and Ninth Grade Center Cleared After Potential Threat

Upon arrival, law enforcement officers thoroughly searched the premises and found no evidence to support the credibility of the reported threat. Consequently, the lockdown was lifted, and normal activities resumed at the high school.

In an abundance of caution, NBPD also cleared the Ninth Grade Center, ensuring the safety of all students and staff members.

NBPD emphasized their commitment to taking all threats seriously, especially those involving schools. A significant police presence was deployed to guarantee the safety of students and residents alike.

Authorities reiterated that there is no ongoing threat at either New Braunfels High School or the Ninth Grade Center. The lockdown has been lifted, and the scene is now deemed safe. Further updates regarding the incident may be provided by the New Braunfels Independent School District (NBISD).
