In Premont, Texas, the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) fugitive task force teamed up with the McMullen County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit to locate a wanted individual. The target, 20-year-old Damian Fal-Rodriguez, was wanted for charges of Deadly Conduct and Aggravated Assault.
The search led authorities to a brush area south of the subject's last known location. K-9 Leia, part of the Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit, led the team back towards the residential area. Eventually, Fal-Rodriguez emerged from a residence and surrendered to the authorities.
Following the apprehension, Fal-Rodriguez was transported to the county jail.
