Bandera County Marshall's Office responded to a major crash on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at the intersection of State Hwy 16 S and Old San Antonio Rd involving a motorcycle.
The incident occurred when a Medina County Sheriff Unit alerted authorities about a high-speed pursuit of a black motorcycle on Hwy 16 S near the county line at 4:51 pm. Reports indicated speeds exceeding 125 mph.
The pursuit continued into Bandera County, where one of the Marshall's deputies intercepted the motorcycle. However, the pursuit ended abruptly when the motorcycle crashed out at 5:02 pm.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Fire Department personnel arrived at the scene, but no transport was necessary.
The rider was taken into custody by the Medina County deputy to be booked into their jail.
