Kyle Police Department has issued two arrest warrants for Sonja Marinkovic, aged 45, following a fatal crash on February 2, 2024. Marinkovic faces charges of Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More and Murder, in addition to earlier charges related to the incident.
The crash occurred around midnight at the intersection of I-35 Southbound Frontage Rd. and Kohlers Crossing, where Marinkovic's Mazda SUV collided with a red Chevrolet driven by Abdel Pastor.
Pastor was transported to Ascension Seton Hays Hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
Police investigations revealed Marinkovic was driving at high speeds in wet conditions when the collision transpired.
