The San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) is urging the community's help in identifying a group of juvenile delinquents involved in a robbery incident that occurred on Valentine's Day.
On February 14, 2024, in the Inner West Side area of San Antonio, an elderly woman was walking along W. Cesar Chavez Blvd and S. San Dario Ave when she was accosted by six male juveniles. One of the suspects grabbed her shirt, causing her to fall to the ground and hit her head on the sidewalk, resulting in pain and dizziness.
During the altercation, one of the suspects rifled through the victim's pockets and stole several hundred dollars before fleeing the scene. A witness managed to capture video footage of the incident on their phone.
Detectives from the SAPD Robbery Task Force are now seeking assistance from residents in the neighborhood to identify the individuals involved. Anyone with information regarding the suspects is urged to contact the SAPD Robbery Task Force at 210-207-0300.
