On Friday, February 16, 2024, San Antonio Police Officers responded to a call reporting an assault at a residence on the Northwest side. The caller, a woman, claimed she had been assaulted by her boyfriend, identified as 28-year-old Johnathan Turner.
Upon reaching the scene, officers found disturbing details. Turner was accused of pulling the woman's hair, repeatedly punching her in the face, and kicking her while she was on the ground. The situation escalated further when Turner allegedly brandished a gun, pressing it against the woman's temple.
The victim, visibly shaken and in pain, reported tenderness in her scalp, facial injuries, and swelling at the site where Turner allegedly held the gun.
Johnathan Turner was taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. He is being held on a bond of $65,000 pending further legal proceedings.
