The Bandera Academic Decathlon team is celebrating a remarkable achievement as they clinched a 2nd place finish at the Regional Competition in Corpus Christi this weekend. This success propels them to the Thomas E. Mosley State competition (Division 1) scheduled for February.
The team showcased their intellectual prowess by securing a first-place victory in the Super Quiz. Additionally, three standout individuals from the team were recognized as overall high scorers in their respective divisions. William Ozzie Knowles claimed 1st place in the honors division, Raegan Derrick secured 2nd place in the scholastic division, and Steven Koonce earned 1st place in the varsity division.
