On Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at approximately 8:25 p.m., a deputy responded to a call regarding a burglary at a residence within the 600 block of Emerald Loop in Fredericksburg. The incident had already taken place when the deputy arrived.
Upon arrival, the deputy met with a family member who explained that she had come to prepare the residence for a showing. The family member noted that the last time she was at the residence was on January 4th. During her walkthrough, she discovered that an office within the residence had been ransacked, and two window screens were missing from separate windows.
At the time of the call, it was unclear what items might be missing as a result of the burglary.
