Christopher Robert Crittell, Rikki Amelia Brooks, Kyle Leigh Ricketson and Trenton Jeremy Carter

In the early hours of Saturday, January 13, 2024, a joint operation involving Gillespie County Sheriff's Office (GCSO) deputies and a Texas Game Warden unfolded at a residence in the 100 block of Remington Ridge. The law enforcement team executed a search warrant, leading to multiple arrests.

Upon entering the residence, contact was made with a male and female, identified as the primary residents. A thorough search of the living quarters revealed an abundant amount of methamphetamine paraphernalia and usable quantities of methamphetamine scattered throughout the room. Approximately 5.39 grams of methamphetamine were recovered from the bedroom.

Further inspection of the residence uncovered a rifle in a closet. The male resident, 46-year-old Christopher Robert Crittell of Fredericksburg, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1/1-B (methamphetamine) in amounts greater than or equal to 4 grams but less than 200 grams. Additionally, Crittell faced charges of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. His total bond was set at $70,000.

The female resident, 57-year-old Rikki Amelia Brooks, also of Fredericksburg, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1/1-B (methamphetamine) in amounts greater than or equal to 4 grams but less than 200 grams. Her bond was set at $45,000.

Two other male individuals were present at the residence during the operation. Kyle Leigh Ricketson, 35, from Bertram, TX, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1/1-B (methamphetamine) in amounts less than 1 gram after a baggie containing the substance was found inside his underwear. His bond was set at $7,000.

The second male, 35-year-old Trenton Jeremy Carter of Bertram, was found to have an outstanding warrant for theft from Williamson County and a parole warrant for multiple violations. Carter was arrested on these charges, and his bond was set at $100,000.

All individuals taken into custody were transported to the Gillespie County Jail.
