Gillespie County Law Enforcement Officials Educates Community on Scams and Identity Theft

CID Sergeant James Ahrens and Deputy-Investigator Bobby Blumrich from the Gillespie County Sheriff’s Office took the initiative to educate the community on scams and identity theft. The duo presented valuable information to the Pilot Knob Extension Education Club at the Gillespie County AgriLife Extension Building earlier today.

The presentation was well-received, with the audience showing great interest and actively participating. Attendees posed thoughtful questions and shared their personal experiences related to scams and identity theft.

Law enforcement emphasized the importance of staying informed about various scams prevalent in society to prevent falling victim to fraudulent activities. They urged individuals to educate themselves on common scams and take necessary precautions.
