In an incident on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 9:27 AM, Gillespie County deputies responded to a call on Palmer Avenue regarding a female complainant who reported locating her stolen vehicle and being assaulted by her ex-husband.
The woman had been moving a cargo trailer with her vehicle when her ex-husband, 43-year-old Samuel Pozzi of Harper, TX, allegedly jumped into her driver's side window, attempting to take the keys. During the struggle, the ex-husband reportedly grabbed the woman by the wrist and twisted it, causing her pain.
Samuel Pozzi was subsequently arrested for Assault (Family Violence).
