Hector Calderon, 24, and Aselynn Montellano, 23, have been arrested by San Antonio Police Officers for aggravated robberies.
Over the past few weeks, the Prue Patrol Service Area had been plagued by a serial robber who uses a firearm in his aggravated robberies.
SAPD robbery detectives began canvasing the geographical area and identified a possible location as the next target the suspect may try to rob.
As detectives began surveillance at the location, the suspect arrived at the location, wearing a mask and armed himself with a firearm. The suspect committed a robbery and fled the location in a get-away vehicle, driven by the second listed person. Moments later, officers assigned to the Street Crimes Unit, who were in position, located and apprehended both suspects after a traffic stop.
The suspects are linked to 6 other robberies in the San Antonio area. Great arrests made , as a result of the dedication by SAPDs Robbery Task Force, and the Street Crimes Unit.
