In a shocking incident in Far North Bexar County, Texas, a 26-year-old woman stands accused of a violent rampage at a man's home after he declined her request for money. According to Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar, Kaley Renae Medina was arrested and charged with robbery.
The alleged confrontation unfolded on Tuesday when Medina, who had previously gone on a date with a 61-year-old man she met on the Seeking dating app, arrived unannounced at his residence around 2:30 a.m. The man, whose identity has not been disclosed, allowed her entry, and they engaged in conversation over wine.
However, tensions escalated when, seemingly out of nowhere, Medina requested $2,000 from the man. When he explained he didn't possess that amount, Medina purportedly flew into a fit of rage. The situation took a violent turn as she allegedly destroyed a mounted flat-screen TV, a custom entertainment center, a painting, and damaged several walls.
According to the arrest report, Medina's rage intensified as she poured laundry detergent on the man's head, causing burns and rendering him temporarily blind. In the chaos, she allegedly stole various items, including an Apple Pro Max iPhone, a surveillance camera, and a Dyson hair dryer, before fleeing the scene.
In the aftermath, the injured and blinded man crawled outside, desperately calling for help. Bexar County Sheriff's deputies responded to the distress call, and the victim was subsequently transported to the hospital, where he received treatment for chemical burns to his eyes and cuts on his legs.
