Wanted Murder Suspect Arrested in Laredo with Additional Drug Charges

Arrested: Antwine King

In the afternoon of October 28, 2023, the US Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders and Fugitive Task Force, in conjunction with the Laredo Police Patrol Division, successfully apprehended a wanted individual at 610 Salinas, known as the Greyhound Station. The arrested subject has been identified as Antwine King, 32 years old.

Antwine King had been the subject of an active arrest warrant issued by the City of Newark, New Jersey, for charges related to murder and possession of a weapon without a permit. Acting on this warrant, the law enforcement team executed the arrest at the Greyhound Station in Laredo.

During the course of the arrest, it was discovered that King was in possession of a controlled substance, specifically Crack Cocaine classified as PG1-F/3, as well as possession of marijuana. Following the arrest, Antwine King was taken into custody and transported to the Laredo Police Department for booking procedures.

Upon arrival at the police department, King was served with the out-of-state arrest warrants from Newark, New Jersey. Additionally, he was charged with possession of the controlled substances found on his person during the arrest.
