Shooting Suspect Apprehended by SAPD Street Crimes Unit


On October 17th, San Antonio Police Officers assigned to the SAPD Street Crimes Unit apprehended 44-year-old Kevin French, who was wanted on three active warrants, two of which were felony warrants for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. These warrants stemmed from a shooting incident that occurred last month at the 6000 block of IH 35 N.

During the apprehension, French was also found to be in possession of a substantial amount of controlled substances. He was subsequently booked on his three active warrants and charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, specifically PG1 4-200 grams, a first-degree felony.
