In a tragic incident, a pedestrian lost their life after being hit by a tow truck on San Antonio's Northeast Side. The San Antonio Police Department reported that the accident occurred near the 7200 block of North Loop 1604 East around 4 a.m. on Wednesday.

According to the authorities, a man was crossing the access road of 1604 East when a tow truck, traveling westbound, struck him. The driver of the tow truck immediately stopped, got out of the vehicle, and contacted the police.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. As of now, the victim's identity has not been disclosed.

It has been confirmed that no arrests or charges have been made in connection with the incident.
