On Thursday, September 14, 2023, the Fredericksburg Police Department had a special visitor – Zack Reyna, a 23-year-old native of New Mexico who has been residing in Kerrville, Texas for most of his life. Zack, who was diagnosed with an inoperable brain aneurysm back in 2007, has become a remarkable supporter of law enforcement and a champion for helping those in need.
Last year, Zack achieved a remarkable feat by raising a staggering $156,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, setting a new world record for his incredible fundraising efforts.
Accompanied by his friend, Joanna Reagan, Zack had the opportunity to meet with Officers Chris Conley and Samantha Phelps during his visit to the Fredericksburg Police Department. He was given a firsthand look at the day-to-day operations inside the police department and even had the chance to sit inside the patrol vehicles.
The Fredericksburg Police Department expressed their gratitude for Zack's visit, recognizing his unwavering support for law enforcement and his commitment to making a positive impact in the community. They wholeheartedly welcomed Zack and thanked him for his continued dedication.
