SAN ANTONIO, Texas - A San Antonio Police Department officer arrested a wanted fugitive accused of injuring an elderly or disabled individual during proactive patrol efforts on the city's North Side.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, North SAFFE Officer Garcia was patrolling the 200 block of Jackson Keller Road when he spotted 21-year-old Jayden Brown, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
The warrant had been obtained by the department's Special Victims Unit in connection with a charge of Injury to an Elderly or Disabled Individual.
Officer Garcia safely took Brown into custody without incident.
Police said the arrest highlights the importance of proactive patrols and collaboration between patrol officers and specialized investigative units in locating wanted offenders.
The San Antonio Police Department commended Officer Garcia for his vigilance and dedication to helping keep the community safe.
