SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Three people with outstanding warrants were arrested Thursday after Bexar County deputies executed a search warrant at a residence on the city's Inner West Side, authorities said.

At approximately 11:48 a.m. on July 30, deputies served a search warrant at a home in the 500 block of Acme Road in an effort to apprehend wanted individuals.

According to authorities, deputies knocked on the front door but received no response from inside the residence. Deputies then forced entry into the home.

Three people were initially detained. Deputies said less-lethal irritants were deployed in two separate rooms after occupants inside refused to comply with commands.

After forcing entry into the two rooms, deputies detained the remaining occupants, bringing the total number of people detained to five.

Three of those individuals were arrested on outstanding warrants:

• Sulayma Garibay, 35, was arrested on a warrant for Violation of Probation involving Dangerous Drugs.

• Kyle Skinner, 48, was arrested on an enhanced charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1/1-B, Less Than 1 Gram.

• Sean Kirchiner, 35, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Terroristic Threats.

The remaining two people detained at the residence were released without charges.

As a precaution during the operation, nearby residences were temporarily evacuated. Authorities said those homes have since been reopened and residents were allowed to return.

The investigation remains ongoing.
