SAN ANTONIO, Texas. Six people have been arrested in connection with a violent home invasion in San Antonio's Stone Oak neighborhood that investigators say was carried out by an organized criminal group.

According to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, the investigation began after an aggravated robbery on May 7 at a home in the 23000 block of Canyon Golf Road.

Investigators allege three suspects entered the residence through the garage, held the occupants at gunpoint and struck one victim in the head with a handgun.

Authorities said the suspects stole multiple rifles, gaming consoles, a thermal optic, high-value athletic shoes and the victim's pickup truck. The truck was later recovered nearby.

During the investigation, detectives traced the stolen thermal optic to a pawn shop, which led to the identification of several suspects. Search warrants executed during the investigation also resulted in the recovery of evidence involving additional alleged criminal activity, including stolen firearms, narcotics and equipment used in vehicle thefts.

Investigators said interviews, witness statements, surveillance video and other evidence indicated multiple individuals worked together to plan and carry out the robbery, while others allegedly pawned stolen property after the crime.

The sheriff's office announced the following arrests:

  • Jaemaurices Jordan Mayes was arrested June 6 and charged with aggravated robbery and engaging in organized criminal activity. He is being held without bond.

  • Michael Jarome Randolph Jr. was arrested June 9 and charged with aggravated robbery and engaging in organized criminal activity. Authorities said Randolph was already out on bond for a March 30 arrest on charges of unlawful carrying of a weapon and evading arrest or detention. Investigators also said he had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in a separate assault on a public servant case stemming from an alleged June 1 incident. He is also being held without bond.

  • Roberto Carlos Bernal was arrested June 18 and charged with aggravated robbery and engaging in organized criminal activity.

  • Marquell Jovon Clay was arrested June 17 and charged with aggravated robbery and engaging in organized criminal activity with the use of a deadly weapon.

  • Daquarius Esean Crockett was arrested July 14 on a theft charge involving property valued between $750 and $2,500. Authorities said he also had an outstanding warrant from November 2024 for evading arrest or detention. Court records show Crockett had previously been arrested on June 17 on a warrant alleging theft of property valued between $30,000 and $150,000 and for violating a bond or protective order.

  • Steve Monroe Pickens Jr. was arrested May 28 on charges of theft of property valued between $750 and $2,500 and possession of a Penalty Group 2 controlled substance between one and four grams. Authorities said Pickens had previous arrests in October 2025 for fraudulent use or possession of identifying information and unlawful carrying of a weapon, and in January 2026 for criminal trespass and marijuana possession.

According to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, all of the suspects except Pickens remain in custody at the Bexar County Adult Detention Center. Pickens posted bond on May 29 and was released while his cases are pending.

The allegations against all of the defendants have not been proven in court. Each is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
