KIMBLE COUNTY, Texas - Three people were arrested after authorities executed two search warrants at a rural property and allegedly discovered more than four ounces of crystal methamphetamine, according to the Kimble County Sheriff's Office.
The operation took place Saturday, July 11, and involved deputies from the Kimble County Sheriff's Office with assistance from multiple local and state agencies.
Investigators arrested Robbie Behrends, 55, Johnathon Behrends, 44, and Faith Smith, 49, following the execution of the search warrants.
According to the Sheriff's Office, more than four ounces of crystal methamphetamine were recovered from the property.
Robbie Behrends was arrested on a warrant for hindering apprehension of a known felon, along with new charges of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1, between 4 and 200 grams, and engaging in organized criminal activity.
Johnathon Behrends was also arrested on a warrant for hindering apprehension of a known felon and faces the same new charges of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1, between 4 and 200 grams, and engaging in organized criminal activity.
Faith Smith was arrested on outstanding warrants for manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance between 1 and 4 grams and a felony parole warrant related to a manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance conviction. She also faces new charges of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1, between 4 and 200 grams, and engaging in organized criminal activity.
The Sheriff's Office said the investigation remains active and could result in additional charges against other individuals.
Authorities thanked the Texas Department of Public Safety, Junction Police Department, Junction Volunteer Fire Department, Kimble County EMS and Texas Parks and Wildlife for assisting with the operation.
