SAN ANTONIO, TX — The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is seeking public assistance in locating 46-year-old Eden Rodriguez, a registered sex offender who has been non-compliant with his mandatory registration check-ins for over two years and is wanted on multiple felony warrants.
Rodriguez has been non-compliant since August 29, 2022. In addition to his registration violation in Bexar County, he faces active warrants out of neighboring Medina County for Indecency with a Child and Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.
Rodriguez was convicted of Sexual Assault of a Child in August 2010, stemming from an incident involving a 14-year-old girl. He served a 10-year prison sentence at the Huntsville unit and was released on December 23, 2020.
Upon his release, Texas state law mandated that Rodriguez register annually as a sex offender. State records indicate his last documented compliance occurred on August 29, 2022. By December 2024, his compliance status was officially listed as more than two years overdue, prompting the issuance of a Bexar County warrant for Failure to Comply with Annual Sex Offender Registration Requirements.
Law enforcement tracking lists Rodriguez's last known address in the 5800 block of Pioneer Estate, located on San Antonio’s far West Side near Highway 90.
He is currently wanted by two jurisdictions on the following active warrants:
Bexar County: Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements (Felony)
Medina County: Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child
Medina County: Indecency with a Child
Authorities advise the public not to attempt to apprehend Rodriguez. Anyone with information regarding his current whereabouts is asked to contact the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office at (210) 335-6000 or submit an email tip to bcsotips@bexar.org.
