BEXAR COUNTY, Texas, March 10, 2026 — A 22 year old man has been arrested after deputies said he was caught secretly photographing female shoppers and employees inside a business in northeast Bexar County.

Deputies with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office responded to the store after management reported a suspicious man walking through the aisles taking photographs of women.

Witnesses told authorities the man was holding his phone at a low upward angle and appeared to be capturing images of female customers and employees from behind without their consent.

When deputies arrived, they observed the suspect, identified as 22-year-old Dominic Robert Espinoza, actively taking a photograph of a teenage girl from a low angle. He was immediately detained.

Investigators said Espinoza initially denied the extent of his actions. However, store surveillance footage showed him intentionally positioning his cellphone to capture images at angles not visible to the public.

Authorities said the images were taken in a manner that violated the victims’ reasonable expectation of privacy.

Espinoza was taken into custody and booked into the Bexar County Adult Detention Center. He faces two charges of invasive visual recording. His total bond has been set at $75,000.
