Wilson County Man Sentenced to 10 Years for Continuous Family Violence Charge

WILSON COUNTY, Texas - Travis Franke was sentenced February 10, 2026, to 10 years in prison after pleading no contest to Continuous Violence Against the Family, a third-degree felony.

Franke entered the plea as his case was set to proceed to trial and requested that the Honorable Jennifer Dillingham determine his sentence. During the punishment hearing, prosecutors presented witness testimony, photographs and medical records as evidence.

Continuous violence against the family is a charge used to address repeated domestic abuse occurring over a period of time.

The District Attorney’s Office thanked the victim and the victim’s family for their cooperation throughout the investigation and court proceedings. The office also acknowledged the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office for investigating the case and presenting it for prosecution.
