BEXAR COUNTY, Texas - On October 30, 2025, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence in the 1200 block of Cantrell Drive, leading to the seizure of dozens of firearms, cash, and stolen property.
After securing the home, a BCSO K-9 alerted to multiple areas where narcotics were suspected. The Covert and Intelligence Units conducted a detailed search while the Gang Unit maintained perimeter security.
Deputies recovered thirty-three (33) firearms across the property, including several found inside a detached structure referred to as the “clubhouse.” Inside, investigators also discovered two body armor vests and a large collection of Bandidos Outlaw Motorcycle Gang insignia and merchandise.
Inside the main residence, deputies seized $206,031 in U.S. currency believed to be proceeds from narcotics trafficking, along with a stolen Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a stolen pistol.
The suspect, 60-year-old Anselmo Barrera, was arrested and booked into the Bexar County Jail – South Tower. He is charged with Possession of Body Armor by a Convicted Felon, a third-degree felony, and faces additional pending charges. Authorities say Barrera is a documented member of the Bandidos Outlaw Motorcycle Gang and holds a high-ranking national position within the organization.
BCSO credited the successful operation to teamwork among its SWAT, Covert, Intel, Gang, and K-9 Units, commending their continued efforts to keep the community safe.
