On October 16, 2025, Special Agents with the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division, assisted by the Uvalde Police Department Street Crimes Unit, executed an evidentiary search warrant at 705 Reyes Alley, Uvalde.

During the operation, 30-year-old Brandon Mendoza was arrested. Authorities seized approximately 150 grams of cocaine and 27 THC cartridges totaling 54 grams.

Mendoza was transported to the Uvalde County Sheriff’s Office and formally charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 ≥4G<200G and Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2 ≥4G<400G.

Officials highlighted the success of the multi-agency coordination in removing illegal narcotics from the community.
