Man Arrested in San Antonio for Indecency with a Child After Online Admission

PLEASANTON, Texas—A four-month investigation by the Pleasanton Police Department (PPD), sparked by an online admission, has led to the arrest of a 52-year-old man in San Antonio for the alleged sexual abuse of a child.

The case began on August 18, 2025, when PPD officers received limited information about a 52-year-old male who had confessed online to inappropriately touching a child.

Detective Gabriel Garza was assigned to the case and successfully identified and located the child, who no longer resided in Pleasanton. During a forensic interview, the child disclosed that the suspect had subjected them to ongoing sexual abuse over the past three years while they lived in the City of Pleasanton.

Detective Garza located the suspect in San Antonio, obtained a statement from him, and secured an arrest warrant for Indecency with a Child, a second-degree felony.

On October 10, the PPD requested assistance from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO), which successfully located and apprehended the suspect. The Pleasanton Police Department thanked the BCSO for their swift assistance.
