San Antonio Man Arrested for Hidden Camera at Holy Cross High School

Arrested: Armando Flores

The San Antonio Police Department has arrested 34-year-old Armando Arnulfo Flores after a hidden camera was discovered in his office at Holy Cross High School, located on the 400 block of N. San Felipe Avenue.

Flores, a former coach at the private Catholic school, was taken into custody without incident by the SAPD Human Exploitation Unit. His bond was set at $7,500, and he has since posted bail.

The investigation began on October 2, 2025, when a juvenile student reported that Flores instructed them to stop moving a camera in his office. The student alerted a female coach who shared the office with Flores. Upon inspection, she found an SD card in the device containing inappropriate images, including photos of herself unclothed and footage of at least three students changing clothes.

Police confirmed that Flores had previously told the coach on August 8 that a camera was present but assured her there was no SD card inside. After reviewing the footage, the coach reported the findings to school administration, which then contacted authorities.

In response, Holy Cross Principal Rene Escobedo issued a statement confirming Flores’ termination and condemning the misconduct. “The Holy Cross community is profoundly saddened and sympathizes with all individuals affected by this deep betrayal of trust. The safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our paramount concern. We have fully cooperated with the SAPD throughout this investigation and are committed to ensuring justice is served,” Escobedo said.

Parents concerned that their child may have been affected are encouraged to contact the school at 210-207-2370.

The SAPD continues its investigation into the case.
