Bexar County Deputies Seize 74 Pounds of Marijuana During South Alamo Street Raid

Arrest of Juan Gonzales

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office announced a major drug bust after executing a search warrant on September 2, 2025, at a residence located at 919 S. Alamo Street.

Deputies say they observed Juan Gonzales leaving the home with a large trash bag. When approached, Gonzales dropped the bag, which was found to contain marijuana. He was detained on the spot.

A subsequent search of the residence revealed nearly 74 pounds of packaged marijuana, along with $8,450 in cash believed to be drug proceeds. The seized narcotics carry an estimated street value of $184,750.

Gonzales was booked into the Bexar County Jail on charges of possession of marijuana (4 oz – 5 lbs). Additional charges may be pending as the investigation continues.
