SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) has arrested a man accused of stalking after residents in the Prue service area reported a “peeping tom” attempting to film women inside their apartments.
According to investigators, the suspect was seen walking around apartment complexes using a cell phone mounted on a selfie stick to record female victims through their windows.
SAPD Prue SAFFE officers began investigating the reports and, with assistance from the SAPD Human Exploitation Unit, identified the suspect as 34-year-old Ricardo McCleary. Detectives obtained a warrant for stalking, and McCleary was taken into custody without incident.
Police credited the coordinated effort of specialized units in quickly identifying and apprehending the suspect.
